The School of Maritime Studies offers a full suite of courses for mariners who are actively engaged in obtaining Transport Canada Certificates of Competency.
These courses are offered from September to April each year in a series of seven week blocks.
Candidates can select the courses that they wish to complete from the list of offerings and may choose any or all of the four blocks.
Many of these courses result in Transport Canada credit on successful completion while the remainder require candidates to write Transport Canada examinations to receive the required credit.
