For over 20 years the Fry Family Foundation has been dedicated to nurturing and celebrating student leadership throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
Building on this commitment, the Foundation is supporting a new initiative at the Institute; the Marine Institute and the Fry Family Foundation are together partnering on a vision of building leadership capacity. The Foundation has established The Fry Family Foundation Student Leadership Initiative Fund, comprising a five year commitment to the Marine Institute, enabling the development of a new Student Leadership Initiative.
Focused on positively impacting student learning and development, components of the initiative will be aimed at further preparing youth of the province in becoming leaders of their communities and in their chosen industries. Marine Institute is most thankful to the Foundation for this opportunity and looks forward to sharing student impact stories made possible through this most generous gift.
