HFC Canada
The Human Factors in Control (HFC) Canada Network is a knowledge sharing platform for stakeholders who have interests in safety-critical operations with a human factors and ergonomic lens.
Advancing technologies and the changing demands on the design, organization, and operations of safety-critical work systems requires continual inputs and iterative cycles in order to ensure optimized human performance, safety and system functioning. The human element has and will continue to be a fundamental part of the evolving process of change.
Our aim is to engage together to share lessons learned and continue to advance knowledge to improve operational safety. Although HFC has particular focus on offshore and maritime sectors, we welcome learnings from other relevant safety-critical domains such as aviation, road and rail transport, and other land-based operations.
If you are a researcher, not-for-profit, policymaker, industry leader or professional with an interest in Human Factors and Ergonomics then we want to hear and learn from you.
